Associations between food consumption patterns and saliva composition: Specificities of eating difficulties children

Identifying objective markers of dietwould be beneficial to research fields such as nutritional epidemiology. As a preliminary study on the validity of using saliva for this purpose, and in order to explore the relationship between saliva and diet, we focused on clearly contrasted groups of children: children with eating difficulties (ED) receiving at least 50% of their energy intake through artificial nutrition vs healthy controls (C). Este articulo presenta una investigacion sobre la identificacion con los principales clubes de futbol en la sociedad espanola e incluye un analisis de los dos principales componentes de la cultura futbolistica de sus aficionados, esto es, la vinculacion y el compromiso personal con el club. Assessing alcohol consumption through wastewater-based epidemiology: Spain as a case study

Background In this study, an alternative and complementary method to those approaches currently used to estimate alcohol consumption by the population is described. This method, known as wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE), allows back-calculating the alcohol consumption rate in a given population from the concentrations of a selected biomarker measured in wastewater. Methods Composite (24-h) wastewater samples were collected at the inlet of 17 wastewater treatment plants located in 13 Spanish cities for seven consecutive days in 2018. Ricardian growth models are generally built on the assumption of a constant natural wage. Such an assumption conceals the fact that classical economists were aware that in growing economies workers' normal pattern of consumption steadily rise both in terms of quantity and quality. In the first part of the chapter we gather some classical hints on the relationship between economic growth and natural wages in order to provide a rational reconstruction of the classical point of view on natural wage dynamics.
